PAUL REGNIER

MPT, Owner

After an injury as a college football player, I was under the care of many different health professionals. But it was the care I received from a graduate assistant that made all the difference in my recovery. I went on to play two more years of productive football in strength and health due to his commitment. He seemed to care more than the other professionals although he was the least trained. This experience changed my life and led me to my decision to become a physical therapist. I received my Masters in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University in 1995.

Having been a patient, I know the frustration of chronic pain. So, as a physical therapist, I have always had a strong commitment to learning how to help people recover from injuries. Over the years, through continued education, I have learned a variety of techniques to become more efficient in doing so. My path has taken me to learn more about how to treat using manual therapies. Thus, I have developed a very hands-on approach to patient care. I combine manual therapies with exercise to restore proper strength and muscle balance in the body.

TAYLOR ZORDEL

DPT

I’m Taylor Zordel and I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. I played softball at Emporia State University where I majored in Health Promotion, and completed my DPT degree at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I decided to become a PT through personal therapy experiences with my own sports-related injuries - I was very intrigued by the knowledge base and hands-on aspect of the job. On top of being a PT, I am also an Assistant Coach for the WU Softball Team. Fun fact: I name all my animals after Major League Baseball players. I have a dog named Whitley and a cat named Tulo.

JILL NAPIER

MSPT

As a kid, I grew up in Omaha, NE. I went to KU for undergrad getting a bachelor’s in psychology, then went on to Washington University in St Louis for PT school. I live in Lawrence and have 2 college-aged boys. From a very early age, I knew I wanted to be in the medical field somehow, and once I found out what physical therapy was in high school, I pursued that path knowing it was the right fit for me. Fun fact: with zero music experience and little talent, I recently took up voice lessons, to learn something new and step outside the box!

ANDREA THOMPSON

PTA

Andrea is a Kansas native who enjoys moments of discovery while adventuring outdoors. She obtained a bachelor's degree from Kansas Wesleyan University (B.A. 2006) where she created her own major combining classes from biology, psychology, health, leadership, and education. After working for 10 years in various industries, Andrea began attending classes at Washburn University to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (A.S. 2018). Andrea teaches aquatic exercise classes when she is not at the clinic and enjoys playing outside regardless of the weather.

COLLIN SMITH

PTA

I grew up in Basehor, KS. I went to Washburn University where I majored in Health Administration and was certified as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology. When I was in high school I suffered a sports-related injury and went through physical therapy to return to competition and compete in the state championships that same season. My goal is to show athletes how they can overcome their injuries and perform better than before. Outside of therapy, I'm attending Kansas City sporting events, traveling, kayaking, or spending time with my lovely wife, Amber. Fun Fact: I love running! I hope to complete ultramarathons in the future.

TYLER WHEAT

PTA

Tyler is a 2020 graduate of Hutchinson CC with an Associates of Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. He grew up in McPherson, KS, and enjoys most of his free time on the golf course and rooting for the University of Alabama, the Chiefs, and the Royals. When not in the clinic or on the golf course, Tyler likes to enjoy time with his grandparents here in Topeka, going back home to be with his parents and two brothers, or traveling to visit friends. He has two left feet but has been known to be out on the dance floor attempting to dance, especially two-stepping!

Restore PT is a terrific clinic. I’ve known few places where every single staff member is so wholeheartedly committed to taking such great care of their customers. From young athletes to those of us who still dream, we’re all treated with kindness and expertise. For those who need PT, Restore is a gift to Topeka!

Jerry B.

I have never had anyone in the 40 years I have been seeing doctors and chiropractors who know the human body so well and to specifically figure out your body’s problem to help you work through pain and training to get you stronger. The whole team is wonderful!!! I tell people all the time how great Restore Physical Therapy is.

Sanda H.

I am a 75-year-old male with muscle atrophy and sciatica in my right leg. I recommend Restore & its therapists without reservation. When I began, my goal was to be able to walk fairly normally and put my cane in the closet. They have guided me to reach that goal. I have spoken with friends who have had a similar experience here.
